====== Mail Setup ======

The waffle.tech mail server offers IMAP, SMTP, and Sieve filtering manageable by ManageSieve. There is a [[https://waffle.tech/webmail|convenient webmail client]], but you may of course want to use the client of your choice.

  * IMAP: mx.waffle.tech, port 993, use TLS
  * SMTP: mx.waffle.tech, port 487, use STARTTLS (TLS proper coming soon)
  * ManageSieve: mx.waffle.tech, port 4190, use STARTTLS (TLS proper coming soon)

Authentication: use your bare username (e.g. "you" rather than "you@waffle.tech") and your KanIDM unix password.

Spam filtering on the mail service is somewhat basic but seems to work well enough. Feedback on spam filtering is always welcome, email help@svc.waffle.tech to open a ticket.
